ISLAMABAD, September 20, 2024 – In a significant electoral achievement, the Founder Group secured all seats on the Executive Committee of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI) for the 2024-26 term.
The elections, conducted on Thursday, saw the Founder Group emerge victorious across both the CM and Am classes, according to a press release from the ICCI. Leaders including Nasir Mansur Qureshi, Sardar Tahir Mahmood, Mohammad Zakria A. Zia, and others were elected for the CM class, representing a broad spectrum of business interests.
In the Am class, Abdur Rehman Siddiqui, Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, and Malik Mohsin Khalid were among those elected, reflecting a strong endorsement from the ICCI membership.
Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of ICCI, alongside Faad Waheed, Senior Vice President, and Engineer Azhar ul Islam Zafar, Vice President, extended their congratulations to the Founder Group for their comprehensive victory. They expressed confidence that the newly elected members would effectively support the business community’s interests.
Khalid Iqbal Malik, Chairman of the Founder Group, thanked ICCI members for their overwhelming support. He highlighted the trust and confidence the business community placed in the Founder Group, attributing the electoral sweep to their satisfactory performance.
Zafar Bakhtawari, former President of ICCI and Secretary General of the United Business Group, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the business community’s solid support for the Founder Group’s proven leadership and achievements.
