The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has introduced the Punjab e-Rozgaar 2.0 initiative, aiming to equip the Pakistani youth with vital digital skills. This updated freelancing training program is the result of new partnerships with City College in Multan and The Learning Hub in Gujranwala, where new e-Rozgaar facilities have been established.
Sajid Latif, the Director General of e-Government at PITB, along with other notable representatives, including Principal Sana Ajmal from The Learning Hub and Managing Director Waheed Ahmad from City College Multan, were present at the signing of these partnerships. This event marked the formal commencement of the enhanced training facilities in both cities.

Punjab e-Rozgaar 2.0, an advanced version of previous online training offerings by PITB, focuses on providing affordable, in-person training in high-demand digital fields. Students enrolled in the program can expect to receive training in web development, digital marketing, content writing, graphic design, and other crucial digital skills.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf elaborated on the initiative’s goal, stating, “Our objective is to expand digital literacy in Pakistan and equip students with practical skills that open up new opportunities for online income, particularly in freelancing.”
The program’s launch is a strategic move to meet the growing needs of Pakistan’s digital economy and to foster skilled professionals capable of thriving in various online markets.
