RAWALPINDI – Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatta announced on January 22 that the construction of the Rawalpindi Ring Road project is expected to be finished by July 31, 2024.
According to Chatta, work is currently underway on the Swan and Sil River bridges, while the Thalian Interchange is being remodeled. Additionally, modeling of the integration between the Ring Road and motorway traffic network is in progress.
The Parks and Horticulture Authority will provide a plantation plan for both sides of the Ring Road, Chatta stated. With over 18 percent of the actual construction work completed so far, he reaffirmed the project’s commitment to high quality building standards.
The full completion of the Rawalpindi Ring Road is anticipated by July 31, with an inauguration date set for August 14, 2024.
