LAHORE, Jan 25: Punjab’s caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi is expediting efforts to ensure timely completion of the Controlled Access Corridor Band Road Project in Lahore, undertaking major steps to oversee its progress.
During an extensive 8-kilometer inspection tour across various project sites, CM Naqvi observed that 74% of Package One (Sagian to Niazi Chowk) and 55% of Package Two (Babu Sabu to Sagian) have been successfully completed.

He closely monitored the ongoing work on both packages during the inspection, stressing the need to accelerate the pace of development. Specifically, CM Naqvi directed for the immediate mobilization of additional manpower to fast-track the completion of Package Two.
CM Naqvi issued clear directives for both packages to be completed by the first week of February, emphasizing maximum utilization of all available resources to open the corridor for traffic.
