Oppo, the renowned smartphone manufacturer, has launched the updated version of its Oppo A3 smartphone for international markets, starting with India. The new Oppo A3 boasts refreshed specifications and a modern design, setting it apart from the previous iteration while retaining the same popular name.
The Oppo A3 features a sizeable 6.67-inch LCD display with a 720p resolution and a impressive 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also offers a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a responsive 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring a smooth and immersive user experience. One notable change is the integrated fingerprint sensor, which is now seamlessly integrated into the side-mounted power button, providing added convenience.
Under the hood, the Oppo A3 now runs on the Dimensity 6300 chipset, a departure from the previous Snapdragon 695 SoC. The device comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 14 operating system with Oppo’s ColorOS 14 user interface layered on top.
In the camera department, the Oppo A3 boasts a 50MP primary camera, accompanied by an additional lens for a more versatile shooting experience. The primary camera is capable of capturing 1080p videos at both 30 and 60 frames per second. For selfies, the device features a 5MP front-facing camera housed in a punch-hole cutout.
