Starting July 8, Sindh and Balochistan are expected to experience rain, wind, and thundershowers. Cities including Jacobabad, Sukkur, Karachi, and parts of eastern Balochistan such as Khuzdar and Kalat will likely be affected.
From July 10, the weather system is projected to intensify, bringing widespread precipitation to upper and central Pakistan. Kashmir, Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan are all in the path of this monsoon activity.
In Kashmir, heavy rainfall is anticipated from July 10 to 16, particularly in areas like Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, and Mirpur. Punjab and Islamabad can expect significant precipitation from July 10 evening through July 15, with cities such as Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Faisalabad likely to be impacted.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is forecast to receive rain from July 11 to 15, affecting regions including Dir, Chitral, and Peshawar. Gilgit-Baltistan will see partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with chances of rain in various districts from July 11 to 15.
The Met Office has urged residents in affected areas to remain vigilant due to potential flooding and disruptions caused by heavy rainfall. Local authorities have been advised to implement necessary precautions to manage the impact of the monsoon season.
This extensive weather system underscores the need for preparedness across Pakistan as the country braces for a week of intense monsoon activity.
