CDA Chairman Retired Captain Anwar ul Haq had recently expressed concerns to the FIA and asked them to expedite the investigation. The Chairman had sought return of CDA’s records in his letter and acknowledged the difficulties faced by the allottees. The case had come to light in October and CDA Chairman had ordered the FIA to launch a comprehensive probe. The Land Department had handed over around 1,500 files for scrutiny to FIA, which has been actively investigating the case for the last three months.
