In a recent update from the Karachi Sarafa Association, gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a decrease, with the rate per tola dropping by Rs. 1,000 to close at Rs. 261,500. The cost for 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs. 857, settling at Rs. 224,194.
This downturn in prices follows a period of stability the previous day when the rate stood firm at Rs. 262,500 per tola. Meanwhile, global gold markets saw minimal changes as investors awaited the release of new job data from the U.S. The spot price of gold hovered at $2,498.87 per ounce, and U.S. gold futures saw a slight rise of 0.1 percent to $2,530.70.
