Pakistan Crowned ‘Tech Destination of the Year’ at GITEX Global 2024

ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP) – Pakistan secured the prestigious “Tech Destination of the Year” title at GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, marking a significant milestone for the country’s technology sector, announced Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Saturday.

The event saw over 200 Pakistani companies, startups, and industry experts showcasing their innovations, demonstrating the nation’s growing influence in the global technology landscape.

“This recognition validates Pakistan’s position in the international tech community,” said Minister Khawaja. “The outstanding participation of our delegates has highlighted the capabilities of our IT industry.”

Several Pakistani companies signed key agreements with international technology leaders during the exhibition, establishing partnerships that promise to expand market access and drive innovation.
